Jučer, 23.07.2013., gradonačelnik Grada Zlatara je zajedno s djelatnicima Jedinstvenog upravnog odjela Grada Zlatara posjetio zgarište u Donjoj Batini. Tamo je u ponedjeljak, 22.07.2013. izbio požar u kojem je u potpunosti izgorio gospodarski objekt pri čemu je nastala veća materijalna šteta te isti objekt više nije za uporabu. U požaru je stradao i veći dio mehanizacije dok su životinje, na sreću, spašene na vrijeme.
Gradonačelnik je vlasnicima odobrio 3.000,00 kuna pomoći, a dodatna će se pomoć tražiti i od županije.
